Nandini Lohani is an aspiring young artist. She currently studies in 12th grade in Modern School, Barakhamba Road. She has always been very creative and started producing beautiful art pieces from a very early age. She is passionate about painting and paints with various mediums- water colours, acrylics and gouache. Nandini says that she likes painting because it makes her feel peaceful and because she likes to convert something plain and simple into something beautiful and good to look at.

Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust has been instituted to identify talent amongst youth and create opportunities for them to showcase their virtuosity. The idea was to make the youth ambassadors of Dogri language and bring in a sense of ownership amongst them, so that through their multiple talents they not only promote the language but also gain from it.
