All English Sonnets
Like coconut that hits the ground and cracks,
Without as much as even a warning sound,
Some object hit and stopped me in my tracks
And made me giddy ere I hit the ground.
Then I heard a cacophonous cawing
To know I had been tattooed by a crow.
And it was closing in and then withdrawing,
As if it wanted me to fight or go.
Then I saw two crowlings on the road,
Afraid and looking foolishly at me.
And in a jiffy saw and understood,
Aggression’s complicated mystery.
Let me tell you friends , loud and clear
Aggression mostly emanates from fear.
