Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2020 - Jammu Cultural Fest is an academic, cultural, literary and art conclave that brings together the best of thinkers, scholars, policy makers, artists across art forms;poets and litterateurs on a common platform to share abundance of Human Spirit. It is to celebrate Viyogism- infinity of Beautiful minds; Divinity in Art and Artists and Piety towards cultural heritage. Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2020 is a unique one-of-its kind ode to the vibrant city of Jammu which pulsates with a throbbing scholarly, artistic and cultural fabric that is locally enriching and globally dynamic. Curated under the aegis of Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust, the week-long Utsav, this year, will be hosted online. The unique element this year will be the launch of two mega events - Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Lecture being held in collaboration with the University of Jammu and first ever Indo US Poetry Symposium with renowned artists converging in virtual space to celebrate the finesse of verse and words. Known for its multicultural showcases, Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2020 will host scholarly endevours that aims to converge Dogri literature with global intellectual sensitivity through academic exploration and insight. It allows young scholars to research, write, debate, create and innovate through the works of iconic Dogri writers and draw parallels of their works with that of international artists. It continues to encourage young talent and art innovation to promote and preserve Dogri and provides platform to all thinkers and artists. For in art, lies the language of evolution, the gateway of progress and the ethos of prosperity. For literature transcends the barriers of communication and gives meaning to myriad expressions of emotions, life and humanity. For music is the food of the soul and connects people of each ethnicity through its rhythm. Through this unique and universal showcases, Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2020 aims to preserve and strengthen the community’s sense of belonging while celebrating the pursuit of creativity. At a time when Jammu is at the throes of a newfound sense of identity, Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2020 proposes multiple avenues for learning, dialogue, entertainment, leisure, growth and communication. Among others things, Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2020 is marked with unique and common experiences across the world, leading up to the tectonic shift in our priorities, value of our connections and awareness of finiteness of our existence.
