SHALOO’S REMEDY
It was a day when nothing seems to work
And everything appears out of place,
Inexplicable, fitful fears lurk,
And made us feel so meaningless and base.
But at that moment SHALOO came along,
She asked me,” Tell me papa, what is wrong?”
And saying this, she jumped into my lap.
And much before I spoke or did she snap.
And told me Papa, something is amiss,
You look so grave and funny, sad and cross?
If mama is annoyed. then let it pass,
For she is vulnerable to a kiss.
I felt my tension ooze from every seam.
How little things release the pent-up steam.
