Walls
‘Viyogi’ lanes of Jammu negotiates
And finds around him walls, walls and walls.
Then wonders what stories and what fates
Are lurking or are brewing , Mating calls
Of unadmitted passion, smarting burns
Of wounding, vile sentences; waging tongues,
Of hibernating lust or purest songs.
He keeps on thinking till he inward turns.
And wonders if at all he wants to know
What lies behind these walls, Questionings
Are stilled and smoothened is his furrowed brow,
He lets them secrets be the secret things.
‘T is good to let the hiding tales decide
Their moments to emerge ,Let them hide
