Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2025

The Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Lecture is a prestigious annual intellectual forum instituted by the Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust in collaboration with the Department of English, University of Jammu. It celebrates the literary legacy of Kunwar Viyogi (Sahitya Akademi Awardee, Dogri poet, and visionary) while fostering critical dialogue on contemporary cultural, social, and literary issues.

The 6th Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Lecture 2025 is being delivered by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, PMO, on the theme “Jammu’iyat: Regional Revival or National Renaissance?”. This year’s lecture forms part of the 10th Kunwar Viyogi Utsav 2025, a celebration of Dogra heritage, legacy, and innovation.

The event brings together eminent scholars, academicians, defense veterans, artists, and thought leaders for panel discussions, patriotic showcases, and award ceremonies. Highlights include:

• Panel Discussions on Jammu’s cultural identity, revival, and its role as a hub of enterprise, tourism, and cultural exchange.

• Showcase of Dogri Patriotic Anthem “Jai Dogra” on Brig. Rajinder Singh and his 100 Braves.

• Kunwar Viyogi Shaurya Samman and Prem Jamwal Art Innovation Award 2025 felicitation ceremonies.

• A thought-provoking lecture and interaction with Dr. Jitendra Singh, followed by engaging Q&A.
