    Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust launches the “Shaurya Kala Samman” to honour brave soldiers for the services to the country. Shaurya Kala Samman is a yearly award given to one soldier serving, or retired or posthumous to show gratitude towards the soldier for the service to the country.

    The award is decided by an eminent jury consisting of Dogri Sanstha and KVMTrust members and presented during the yearly Kunwar Viyogi Utsav held at Jammu.This year we honour the legacy of one of India’s greatest war heroes – Brigadier Rajinder Singh Jamwal, with a short film titled “1947: The Forgotten Battle of URI

Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust has been instituted to identify talent amongst youth and create opportunities for them to showcase their virtuosity. The idea was to make the youth ambassadors of Dogri language and bring in a sense of ownership amongst them, so that through their multiple talents they not only promote the language but also gain from it.
